Abraham Lincoln: On January 1, 1863 Abraham Lincoln did a speech over the Emancipation Proclamation, the important significance of that document is that the emancipation proclamation stated that ended slavery in the north and made it illegal, and any territories in the south under the North control. Around 20,000 to 50,000 slaves in regions where rebellion had already been subdued were immediately emancipated.
Elizabeth Candy Stanton: There's a document over the declaration of sentiments and resolutions at a women's rights convention, held a at Scenca Falls, on July 19-20, 1848. The importance of the document is that it states all the important laws of women and the impact of it is the women's laws. All the laws/duties they wanted pass were resolved.
Harriet Tubman: A quote from Harriet Tubman is "Every great dream begins with a dreamer. Always remember, you have within you the strength, the patience, and the passion to reach for the starts to change the world." The importance/impact on this quote is that if you put your mind to something you can do it, if you have the strength. She says this because she followed her dream and made it come true.
Andrew Jackson: On December 6,1830, in a message to congress, president Andrew Jackson called for the relocation of the eastern native American tribes to land west of the Mississippi river, in order to open new land for settlement by citizens of the United States. The impact of the document is that it gave American citizens new land to live in.
